A leading security and technology hub is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of production‑grade infrastructure powering mission‑critical platforms.
This is not a support role. You'll architect, automate, and optimise Kubernetes environments that support secure, high‑availability systems used to protect communities and businesses. If you care about resilience, clean automation, and zero‑downtime releases, this is where your work matters.
You'll collaborate with global teams, influence release strategy, and travel quarterly to key client sites across Africa, Dubai, and beyond — seeing first‑hand how the systems you support operate in real environments.
WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING?
- Production‑grade infrastructure underpinning mission‑critical security platforms
- Hands‑on ownership of Rancher‑managed Kubernetes clusters — ensuring stability, scalability, and resilience under real‑world load
- CI/CD pipelines for .NET (C#) backend and Flutter frontend services — enabling secure, repeatable releases across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production
- Automated infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform / Ansible) to reduce drift and increase deployment confidence
- Core system components including RabbitMQ, Redis, and PostgreSQL — optimised for performance and reliability
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting systems that proactively detect issues before they become incidents
- Continuous troubleshooting, optimisation, and improvement of infrastructure that engineers depend on daily
OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- 5+ years in DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering (senior level)
- Strong hands‑on Kubernetes (K8s) experience
- Rancher cluster management expertise
- Proven CI/CD automation experience (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket CI, AWS DevOps, or similar)
- Experience promoting code across multiple controlled environments
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Experience supporting .NET deployments
- Solid understanding of Git and modern release workflows
HIGHLY BENEFICIAL:
- Cybersecurity or biometrics domain experience
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible)
- Redis, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL expertise
- Exposure to Flutter deployment pipelines
- DevSecOps integration experience
