YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple cost centres.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Assist with financial consolidation and reporting for local and international entities.
- Oversee supplier payments, expense management, client billing, and intercompany recharges.
- Review and approve invoices in line with internal controls and tax requirements.
- Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations and support cash flow forecasting.
- Track working capital and FX exposure while collaborating with operations and trading teams.
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and internal governance policies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes.
- Support upgrades, integrations, and testing of ERP or financial systems.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures.
OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
- Experience working with multi-entity and multi-currency financial operations.
- Strong Excel skills and exposure to ERP/accounting systems (Xero advantageous).
- Solid understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations.
- Experience in cross-border payments, FX/crypto accounting, foreign entity consolidation.
