Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY THAT AWAITS YOU

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Property Administrator to support the efficient management of their property portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of property administration, maintenance coordination, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. Working closely with the Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational processes run smoothly and properties are maintained to a high standard.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities across the property portfolio, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, and service providers to facilitate maintenance, inspections, and day-to-day property-related matters.
  • Manage inspection processes and ensure all related records and documentation are accurately maintained.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for the Portfolio Manager.
  • Administer municipal account processes, including statement management, reconciliations, and payment submissions.
  • Support lease administration activities, tenant application processing, and associated verification procedures.
  • Process invoices and payment requests while ensuring all required approvals are obtained.
  • Maintain accurate property records, valuations, asset registers, and related administrative documentation.

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

  • Completed Matric.
  • Relevant diploma or qualification (preferred).
  • 3–5 years' experience in property administration and maintenance.
  • Sound understanding of property management principles and processes.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with property advertising portals (advantageous).
  • Experience with Red Rabbit and/or Fusion (or similar) (preferred).
