An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Data Lead to join a large-scale enterprise transformation programme within a large-scale business transformation environment based in Centurion.

This role forms part of a strategic ERP and enterprise information management initiative focused on improving enterprise data maturity, enabling reliable decision-making, and strengthening data engineering and migration capabilities across the organisation.

You will play a key role in leading enterprise data migration and integration initiatives while supporting the implementation of robust data management practices, scalable data pipelines, and enterprise-wide data governance enablement.

The successful candidate will work across multiple business and technology domains, helping shape how critical enterprise information is managed, integrated, secured, and leveraged to support operational excellence and strategic outcomes.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Data Migration workstream within the enterprise transformation programme
• Facilitate engagement sessions between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams
• Review and coordinate sign-off of data migration artefacts and deliverables
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipeline architectures
• Support enterprise-wide data integration and interoperability initiatives
• Develop and maintain integration patterns, APIs, and data exchange protocols
• Identify opportunities to improve data reliability, quality, efficiency, and accessibility
• Support implementation of enterprise data management capabilities including:
  • Data quality
  • Metadata management
  • Master and reference data management
  • Data architecture and modelling
  • Data lifecycle and retention management
  • Data cataloguing and lineage
• Monitor and optimise data pipelines and integration processes
• Maintain technical documentation relating to data engineering and integration processes
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to improve enterprise data management maturity
• Provide regular progress reporting and participate in governance and project forums

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, or related field
• 5 to 8+ years’ experience within enterprise data management or data engineering environments
• Strong experience in:
  • Data Engineering
  • Data Migration
  • Data Integration
  • Enterprise Data Management
  • Data Pipeline Development
  • Data Architecture
  • Enterprise Information Management (EIM)
• Exposure to:
  • ERP transformation programmes
  • Enterprise-scale data modernisation initiatives
  • Regulated or complex enterprise environments
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and interoperability frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to operate across both technical and business-facing environments

YOUR REWARD

• Contract rate depending on candidate experience, estimated at R950+ per hour
