Store Operator – CTM (Branch name)
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, entrepreneurial, and innovative Store Operator to oversee the day-to-day operations and sales performance of our store. This role requires a well- rounded individual capable of managing operations independently under pressure while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring team success. Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Sales:
• Provide outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering product recommendations.
• Drive sales growth through proactive engagement, upselling, and building long-term client relationships.
• Manage and monitor product categories, ensuring accurate weekly stock counts and well- organized displays.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed monthly performance targets (KPIs).
2. Operations & Inventory Management:
• Oversee stock levels, inventory processes, and warehousing operations to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct regular stock audits in line with established procedures.
• Maintain product displays according to merchandising standards for an enhanced shopping experience.
3. Team Leadership & Administration:
• Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with administrative and operational protocols.
• Support the team with customer transactions and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Entrepreneurial mindset and innovative thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
• Responsible and accountable for achieving both operational and sales objectives.
• 2+ years of management experience within the retail environment (preferably within the group).
• Proficiency in SAP software and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Deadline and results-driven, able to meet performance goals within set timelines.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven success in sales with a passion for driving results.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.
