We're partnering with an innovative, AI-driven technology scale up that's redefining how medical professionals interact with technology. As the business enters a critical growth phase, they are seeking a highly capable Chief of Staff / Chief Operating Officer (COO) to work directly alongside the CEO in building the operational foundations required to scale a world-class organisation.

This is not a traditional COO role focused on managing large established teams, nor a purely administrative Chief of Staff position. Instead, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, technology, operations, and organisational design, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, creating clarity, and turning strategy into measurable outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING (AND OWN)

  • Translating company strategy into executable priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Designing and implementing operating rhythms, planning cycles, and accountability frameworks
  • Driving strategic initiatives across multiple business functions
  • Creating structure, clarity, and alignment across teams
  • Building scalable operational systems and processes to support growth
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and technology to improve efficiency
  • Supporting executive decision-making through planning, analysis, and business insights
  • Establishing operating models that enable scale without unnecessary complexity
  • Acting as a trusted partner and force multiplier to the CEO and leadership team
  • Creating a culture of accountability, ownership, and execution excellence

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

  • 5+ years' experience in high-performance, growth-oriented environments
  • Experience working directly with founders, executives, or senior leadership teams
  • Background in Chief of Staff, COO, Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Consulting, Founder Associate, or similar roles
  • Exposure to technology, SaaS, AI, healthcare, or fast-scaling businesses
  • Strong commercial judgement and operational problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated ability to move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven track record of driving initiatives through to completion
