As a Mid-Level Systems / Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in bridging the gap between business and technology. Working closely with stakeholders and development teams, you'll translate business needs into functional solutions, helping shape products that deliver meaningful value to customers.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.

  • Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs) and Change Requests.

  • Design system solutions that address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate closely with software developers throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Document new products, systems and business processes.

  • Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements.

  • Support solution testing, validation and implementation.

  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and assist with issue resolution.

  • Train and support end users on newly implemented products and systems.

  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

 

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst within a software development environment.

  • Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements.

  • Strong experience creating BRDs, FRDs, TRDs and Change Requests.

  • Experience working alongside software development teams.

  • Proficiency in Figma.

  • Experience using Lucidchart or similar process modelling tools.

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets).

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Good understanding of software development principles and system design.

  • Basic understanding of database structures and data relationships.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
