YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team, you will ensure focus, alignment, and execution across the business:
- Drive CEO effectiveness
- Own and manage the CEO’s calendar, inbox, and communications
- Prioritise time and commitments to maximise impact
- Ensure meetings are well-prepared, structured, and outcomes-driven
- Act as a gatekeeper and facilitator across stakeholders
- Coordinate across the business
- Serve as a central coordination point across teams and leadership
- Schedule, prepare, and track key meetings and deliverables
- Maintain visibility on commitments and ensure accountability
- Enable execution and follow-through
- Track progress on key priorities and strategic initiatives
- Translate decisions into clear next steps and ensure delivery
- Step into operational gaps to support execution when needed
- Support operations and projects
- Assist with cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Help bring structure to workflows, reporting, and priorities
- Reduce reactive workload by improving organisation and planning
- Manage travel and logistics
- Coordinate local and international travel arrangements
- Ensure seamless execution across time zones
OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- Matric and completed tertiary qualification
- 3–6 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant, Operations, or similar role
- Experience supporting a CEO, founder, or senior executive (preferred)
- Exposure to startup, scale-up, or high-performance environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience working across international teams and time zones
