This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you’ll shape both people and technology. As the Software Development Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing development team and take ownership of the full software delivery lifecycle, from early planning and system design through to deployment and continuous improvement.

You’ll play a key role in setting technical direction, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions that align with broader business objectives. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and high-   performance culture.
  • Lead the buildout of secure APIs, microservices, and modular backends in C# / .NET
  • Architect and scale systems with Angular, SQL, and modern DevOps practices
  • Set a clear technical and delivery vision, aligning team goals with wider business strategy.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Plan and organise workflows, resources, and timelines across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, technical requirements, and delivery priorities.
  • Guide system architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and risks to support sustainable delivery.
  • Drive quality assurance practices, reviews, and best-practice deployments.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, tools, or processes.
  • Encourage continuous learning within the team to stay aligned with evolving technologies and industry trends.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.

 

 

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
  • 10–15 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies, programming languages, frameworks, and tooling
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture, system design, databases, and scalable solutions
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and momentum.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop teams.
