The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who thrives on managing complexity and scale. In this role, you will be responsible for the production software that manages our massive datasets, including records for over 340 million trees. You are a systems-minded engineer who loves managing databases at scale and ensuring our platform remains robust as our global footprint expands across 18 countries.

What you’ll do

● Build and scale the core infrastructure and external APIs to handle Aerobotics' growth and ambitious mission.

● Own the health, performance, and scalability of our relational databases (Postgres) and data stores.

● Contribute to the long-term technical strategy of our infrastructure and system reliability.

● Build tools and software to automate failure recovery and performance monitoring for critical agricultural decisions.

What you’ll need

● 4+ years relevant engineering experience managing high-traffic production software. ● Experience with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL at significant scale. ● Experience running production systems on cloud platforms like AWS ● Proficiency in system design and architecture ● Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent)

● Proficiency with backend languages (we use Python) and a software engineering approach to infrastructure.

● Ability to move fast and prioritize system reliability in a high-growth environment.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who loves building new products in an iterative and fast-moving environment. In this role you will be bringing our state-of-the-art AI models to farming operations around the world. Our users include growers, packhouse managers, fruit exporters and business decision makers. You will collaborate closely with our product team to gain a deep understanding of our users - to bring them the features they want the most. You will play a key role in our effort to deliver technology that solves some of agriculture's hardest problems.

What you’ll do

● Build and scale the platform (web, mobile and our external api) to handle Aerobotics’s growth and ambitious mission.

● Own the development of new customer-facing features and product experiences end-to-end

● Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and agronomists to release well-rounded products which add value to our customers.

● Contribute to the long term technical strategy of our products and system.

What you’ll need

● 5+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies ● Proficiency with JavaScript, React, and other web technologies ● Proficiency with some backend language (we use Python) ● Some experience with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL ● Some experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks like React Native

● iOS mobile app experience is a bonus ● Interest in the agricultural industry ● Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and

may have competing priorities or deadlines

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who can take difficult problems from concept to production. This role spans Aerobotics’ stack across backend services, data pipelines, and algorithmic logic where you’ll build the systems behind TrueFruit - our yield product, serving farmers across 18 countries. This is not a narrow specialist role, it requires strong engineering judgment and the ability to ship.

What You’ll Do

● Own problems end-to-end: from a loosely defined need through system design, implementation, and production deployment, including any supporting internal tooling required along the way. Architects will support scaling efforts, but competence at that level is expected from you too.

● Build and maintain backend systems and data pipelines that process image-derived agricultural data at scale.

● Solve algorithmic problems around how we extract, transform, and serve insights from imagery working at the intersection of software engineering and data.

What You’ll Need

● 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in Python, with a track record of shipping production systems at tech-driven companies.

● Demonstrated experience designing and building systems from scratch, not just contributing to existing ones

● Experience building and operating systems that run at scale ● Ability to move fast and make deliberate trade-offs between rigour and speed, and to

justify those decisions.

● Proven ability to disambiguate vague problems and drive them to shipped solutions.

Perks you’ll bring

● Experience with data science or algorithmic problem-solving beyond standard application development.

● Front-end experience (React or similar) for internal tooling. ● Exposure to computer vision or ML systems
